eye to i. 1999. london

The 'eye to i' project involved two schools within London, exchanging and responding to each others' work on the theme of representation and identity. Meeting only at the presentation of the final installation involving photographic projections, relief sculpture and sound scapes installed in the Young Vic Theater, London, their work was only what each knew of the other. Important to the concept and for the participants was the realisation only at the end that one set of pupils were from a primary school and the other from a school for the blind and the severly visually impaired. The project was commissioned by the Young Vic Theater.
