phase 1. 2004 / phase 2. 2005/06
A series of images depicting the usage of 'Common Ground' in England, Germany and Poland detailing the lives of individuals within the context and determining factor of these public spaces.
The word 'Common' and our understanding of it, is both complex and relative. We can say to be 'common' is to find evidence of an aspect equal or present in all. To bring forth this aspect, the prints from the first phase of the project were buried, for varying lengths of time, in common ground.
The images have been re-framed in the exsisting frames from the exhibition of the first phase, only now containing 2 layers of between 2 and 5 prints each. The project is presented as a triptych.
