The concept of 'luck' seems to me a defining aspect of our humanity. Why should anything, sentimental or otherwise, be a vessel to the fortunes of the future.
If such a concept is only a means to equate a period or process that has succeeded, then are we the masters of our own fortunes?
Each New Year with friends and family I cast and watch the future for myself illustrated in the contorted shapes of
Bleigießen. However interprated, these forms in themselves seem so beautiful – molded by forces beyond my own reason.
The project involves a series of small prints been given to others for a minimum of 1 year under the instruction to keep it on
their person. The 'holders' through the process of their daily lives, project an aspect of themselves onto the image of anothers future.
